Surat, July 2026: The Textile and Apparel Development Association (TAADA) is organizing the National Textile Export Conclave 2026: Surat’s Export Roadmap on Sunday, 19th July 2026, at SGCCI Platinum Hall, Sarsana, Surat. The event is being organised with the support of iNDEXTb (Government of Gujarat).
The conclave is specially designed for textile industrialists, manufacturers, exporters, garment manufacturers, fabric traders, embroidery entrepreneurs, designers, startups, and all stakeholders associated with the textile and fashion industry.
During the conclave, leading industry experts will provide practical insights on:
- What Surat’s industries should manufacture to meet global market demand?
- Products with the highest demand in international markets.
- How businesses can begin their export journey and secure new export orders.
- Ways to connect with international buyers and buy houses.
- Government schemes, incentives, and export support are available from the Central and State Governments.
- Export compliances, certifications, quality standards, and policy requirements.
- Strategies to remain competitive in the rapidly evolving global marketplace.
The conclave will also feature distinguished speakers from Government Institutions, Export Promotion Organisations, Buying Houses, Export Houses, industry experts, and successful exporters, who will share their experiences and valuable insights.
The conclave will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by the much-awaited fashion presentation “FASHIONOVA 2026”, organised by the Institute of Design & Technology (IDT), beginning at 7:00 PM.
The grand fashion showcase will present unique sustainability-inspired themes, highlighting environmental conservation, innovation, and the richness of Indian craftsmanship. Approximately 250 students from various IDT centres across the country are participating in this prestigious fashion presentation. They will showcase their exclusive design collections and present garments designed by themselves on the runway, reflecting the creativity, innovation, and emerging talent shaping the future of the Indian fashion industry.
