India International Waterproofers Conference & Expo 2026 to bring global industry stakeholders together

New Delhi, 23rd July 2026: Waterproofers Association of India(WAI), will host the 2nd edition of India International Waterproofers Conference & Expo 2026 from 6 – 7 August 2026 at Pullman New Delhi Aerocity from 9:30 – 19:00 hrs.

The flagship conference and exhibition will bring together industry experts, asset owners,

waterproofing professionals, manufacturers, architects, consultants, contractors, builders, developers, government bodies, public-sector organisations and other stakeholders from India and international markets.

Sandeep Chaudhry, President, WAI, and founder SNP Technologies Pvt Ltd and DryShield Waterproofing said, “The main objective of WAI is to provide a unified voice & a dignified platform in the construction industry. The conference and exhibition mark another significant step forward for the waterproofing industry, which has often been overlooked despite being a critical component of the construction sector”.

Fostering meaningful discussions and highlighting the critical role of waterproofing in building integrity and construction best practices, the two day WAI event will feature expert presentations and panel discussions on critical aspects of modern waterproofing, including climate-responsive design, risk evaluation, system selection for complex basements and water-retaining structures, solutions for challenging detailing, synthetic membrane welding technologies, surface preparation, mechanized membrane application, and best practices in material selection, installation, testing, and quality assurance. Industry experts, architects, consultants, contractors, and waterproofing specialists also deliberated on performance-based specifications, durable waterproofing solutions for climate extremes, and balancing construction speed with long-term performance.

The two-day event will feature more than 20 industry speakers, five panel discussions and 53 exhibition booths showcasing the latest technologies, materials, equipment and solutions. More than 550 delegates from India and overseas markets are expected to participate in the conference.

Key speakers and participants include Praveen Mahajan – Executive Member, IPUA, Mehul Parikh Pidilite Industries Ltd, Nerolac, Amchem, Somani, Ecmas, Ascolite, Delta Dubai, La Greens, Bronco, Ardex Endura, Grako among others.

“There are almost 55 international Delegates from China, Korea, Germany UAE who have registered sor collaboration with Indian companies” further added Mr Chaudhry.

The conference will further highlight the growing role of business automation and artificial intelligence in the waterproofing sector. Dedicated sessions will explore the use of digital and AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency, documentation, contract management, cash-flow protection and dispute avoidance.

The Waterproofers Association of India has partnered with the China Building Waterproofing Association as the International Association Partner and NAREDCO for the event, further strengthening international collaboration and knowledge exchange within the industry.

As part of its larger outreach, WAI conducts training programmes, networking events, conferences and exhibitions to improve standardisation and technical capabilities within the industry
