Thiruvananthapuram, July 27: Aiming at flagging Kerala as a prime Global Capability Centre (GCC), Kerala IT today unveiled a comprehensive GCC Feasibility Report that outlines a strategic roadmap for attracting and scaling GCC investments in the state.
Industries, Commerce, IT & AI Minister Shri PK Kunhalikutty launched the report at the ‘Kerala GCC Outlook 2026’ conclave at Technopark here. Shri V Muraleedharan, MLA, presided over the function.
Inaugurating the event, Shri Kunhalikutty said the report is a vital step for transforming Kerala into the most preferred GCC destination in the country.
“The government is keen to achieve this mission after analysing the report. We have a highly skilled talent pool and a mature IT ecosystem. There are shortcomings, but we have to overcome them by relying on our strengths,” the Minister added.
‘Kerala GCC Outlook 2026’ was organised as a strategic platform to discuss Kerala’s growing GCC ecosystem and the emerging opportunities to help the state position itself as a major GCC hub in the country.
In his welcome address, Shri Seeram Samabasiva Rao IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Govt. of Kerala, said GCCs are driving the next way of technological transformation and creating high-value employment across the globe.
“Kerala is hosting more than 45 operational GCCs today. Our vision is to build on this foundation and reach 150 GCCs and two lakh associated jobs by 2031. The GCC Feasibility Report is a comprehensive assessment of Kerala’s readiness and outlines a strategic roadmap for attracting and scaling GCC investments,” he added.

Shri Srinivasan Sarvabhouman, CFO of Bengaluru—headquartered ANSR, a global firm specialising in the establishment of GCCs, presented the Kerala Feasibility Report 2026 at the event.
On the occasion, Shri Sandip Kumar IAS exchanged an MoU with Shri Ranjith Doshi, Director, Collabera. Another MoU was exchanged between Shri Susanth Kurunthil, CEO, Infoparks Kerala and Shri Srinivasan Sarvabhouman, CFO, ANSR.
Shri Sunil S S, Councillor, and Shri Rony Sebastian, Secretary, GTECH, were also present.
The GCC Feasibility Report presents the state’s readiness and strategic roadmap for attracting and scaling GCCs. The event also brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, GCC executives, consultants and ecosystem stakeholders.
