29th July 2026: Sprite, the iconic lemon and lime-flavoured beverage, is turning up the flavour with ‘Spicy Laga. Sprite Utha.’. Inspired by a generation of bold flavour seekers who actively chase spicy food experiences and love pushing their spice limits, the campaign celebrates Sprite as the perfect companion when the heat kicks in, unlocking more flavour in every bite.
At the heart of the campaign is a simple consumer behaviour that has become second nature for spice lovers, reaching for a chilled Sprite when the heat kicks in. Bringing this insight to life through humour, the campaign film stars youth icon and Sprite brand ambassador Sharvari alongside comedy favourite Sunil Grover in a lively restaurant setting. As Sunil serves up one fiery dish after another through his trademark characters, Sharvari instinctively reaches for a chilled Sprite, celebrating the crisp, lemon-lime taste that complements every spicy bite and makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Sumeli Chatterjee, Category head, sparkling flavours, Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia, said, “The rise of spicy food isn’t simply a trend; it reflects how consumers are seeking shareable and memorable food experiences. ‘Spicy Laga. Sprite Utha.’ taps into this evolving food culture by inviting people to enjoy the bold flavours of their favourite spicy dishes with the crisp, lemon-lime refreshment of Sprite, that turns every bite and sip into a moment worth sharing. This year, we’re bringing the platform closer to consumers through real-world experiences and digital partnerships that meet them where they discover, share and celebrate food.”
Sharvari added, “Sprite always finds fun and relatable ways to connect with young consumers, and that’s what I love about this campaign. ‘Spicy Laga. Sprite Utha.’ celebrates something many of us already do, pairing spicy food with a chilled Sprite. It’s simple, refreshing and full of energy, and I’m excited for everyone to experience it.”
Sunil Grover added, “Spicy food always brings excitement to the table, and Sprite is the perfect companion when the heat is on. Shooting this campaign was a lot of fun because it captures those familiar food moments with humour. I hope people enjoy watching it and, of course, enjoy their next spicy meal with a Sprite.”
As a part of the campaign, Sprite will also collaborate with over 200 brand partners across the country, including leading QSRs and food brands including Burger King, Wow! Momo, and Tabasco, encouraging consumers to pair their favourite spicy meals with a chilled Sprite. The campaign will also feature a nationwide on-pack promotion giving consumers the chance to win an exciting trip to Korea, bringing even more excitement to every spicy bite.
