Tata Mutual Fund’s Raksha Bandhan Tribute to Sisters Who Shape Our Lives

A special stand-up comedy and poetry act uses the sibling bond to encourage a more thoughtful approach to financial planning

Mumbai, August 27, 2026: This Raksha Bandhan, Tata Mutual Fund brings a fresh perspective to the timeless bond between brothers and sisters with ‘Behenein apne bhaiyon ko ek behetar insaan banaati hain!’, the latest edition to its investor education campaign.

Presented through a unique blend of stand-up comedy and poetry, the campaign features comedian and performer Rajat Sood, who brings alive the many shades of the brother-sister relationship—from playful fights and childhood secrets to the quiet support that stays through life’s difficult moments. The narrative eventually moves towards an important message: celebrating a sister’s dreams can also mean helping her plan for them.

At the heart of the campaign is the thought that sisters make their brothers better people. Through relatable anecdotes, humour and nostalgia, the performance captures how sisters are often a source of guidance, care and encouragement, while also reminding brothers that their role can extend beyond traditional gifts and gestures.

The film ends with a thoughtful reminder that Raksha Bandhan can also be an occasion to plan for a loved one’s future. It encourages investors to begin sensible financial planning through a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP), reinforcing the importance of long-term financial discipline and goal-based investing.

The Raksha Bandhan special is part of ‘Mehfil e-fund’, Tata Mutual Fund’s investor education campaign that uses stories, poetry, comedy and other engaging formats to make financial concepts simpler and more relatable. The initiative aims to take investor education beyond conventional financial communication and bring it closer to everyday conversations and experiences.

Through ‘Behenein apne bhaiyon ko ek behetar insaan banaati hain!’, Tata Mutual Fund hopes to spark a simple conversation this Raksha Bandhan: while a Rakhi symbolises a lifelong bond, thoughtful financial planning can be another way of supporting the dreams and aspirations of those we care about.

Commenting on the Raksha Bandhan campaign, Ashish Pawar, Chief Marketing Officer, Tata Asset Management, said: “Raksha Bandhan celebrates one of the most special relationships in our lives. Through this film, we wanted to capture the love, laughter, life lessons and support that sisters bring to our lives. The film also carries a simple message: caring for loved ones includes planning for their future. We hope it inspires families to take small but meaningful steps towards long-term financial well-being through disciplined investing.”

The campaign will be promoted across Tata Mutual Fund’s digital and social media platforms as part of its continued commitment to making investor education simple, engaging and relevant for audiences.
