The House of Abhinandan Lodha Brings Forward Delivery of the Nagpur Marina project in Nagpur by 2 years

Nagpur, 27 August 2026: In a first in real estate, The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) has announced a significant milestone for its customers at its flagship project Nagpur Marina, bringing forward the project’s expected delivery from the RERA-registered deadline of December 2030 to December 2028, an advancement of an unprecedented 2 years.

For customers, this means receiving their plots substantially ahead of the originally committed regulatory delivery timeline so that they can begin construction of their individual homes and enjoy living at Nagpur’s most luxurious property 2 years sooner.

This is driven by the accelerated progress in construction at the site of this upcoming project. The fast-tracked delivery is particularly noteworthy given the challenging operating environment faced by the real estate and construction sector. Over the recent past, the industry has had to navigate disruptions arising from the ongoing West Asia conflict, including their impact on the availability and supply of critical construction materials, particularly metals. The sector has also faced labour-related disruptions.

In such circumstances, several developers have sought protection under force majeure provisions when faced with delays or disruptions.

HoABL, however, has chosen a different path.

Rather than using such circumstances as a basis to seek extensions, the company has remained focused on maintaining construction momentum and accelerating delivery for its customers.  The project was launched in January 2026 with the expected delivery date of December 2030 or 5 years, as provided to RERA. The decision to bring forward the expected delivery of Nagpur Marina to December 2028 or 2 years sooner from the previously promised date reflects the commitment of the organisation towards its customers

The company has demonstrated similar successes across its projects, including Imperial Goa and Isle of Bliss at Dapoli, where it had delivered the respective projects ahead of the originally committed timelines.

Commenting on the development, Mr Abhinandan Lodha, Chairman, The House of Abhinandan Lodha said, “For us, delivery is not merely a contractual milestone, it is a commitment to our customers. While the industry has faced unprecedented challenges relating to materials, supply chains and labour, our focus has remained firmly on ensuring that our customers receive their land at the earliest possible date. At Nagpur Marina, we are confident of delivering in 2028, well ahead of the previous 2030 timeline registered with MahaRERA.”

Mr Abhinandan Lodha further added that “When the project was announced in a hot, landlocked city like Nagpur, with no real marina, there was scepticism that the concept was primarily intended to just create Noise. Today, its execution tells a very different story. Delivering a 3-acre beach and wave pool in Nagpur’s challenging weather conditions, alongside a 28,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and 40+ amenities across three dedicated amenity zones, is an extraordinary feat and such an advancement was made possible through the facilities, cooperation, and continued support extended by the local authorities, as well as through the dedication, expertise, and collective efforts of our architects and all the people who were instrumental in developing and delivering the project”.

The accelerated delivery of Nagpur Marina is a significant achievement for its customers, underscoring HoABL’s focus on execution, construction discipline, and customer-centric delivery.

Spanning 918 plots, the project is supported by substantial infrastructure including internal road networks, electrical substations, sewage treatment plants, underground water storage provisions and more.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the speed of execution and the ability to enable early possession. Nagpur Marina demonstrates that even in a challenging construction environment, ambitious projects can be delivered at pace when a developer takes ownership of execution, maintains construction discipline, and focuses on solving challenges rather than using them as reasons for delay.

What once seemed unthinkable at the time of announcement is now becoming reality, a fully developed marina-inspired destination delivered with extraordinary speed, scale, and ambition, without compromising on the breadth of the customer offering.
