Spinny Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with ‘Ministry of Sisters’ Initiative

The initiative brings the familiar sister-brother dynamic into car ownership, with sisters checking their brothers’ challans and putting them through a Brother Inspection.

New Delhi, September 1 st  2026: The bond between brothers and sisters often comes with an everyday role for sisters, keeping their brothers in check. This Raksha Bandhan, Spinny brought this familiar dynamic into the world of car ownership through its ‘Ministry of Sisters’ initiative. Captured through a slice-of-life film, the initiative sees sisters inspect their brothers’ driving records, call them out, and keep them in check, even when it comes to their cars.

As part of the initiative, sisters were invited to participate in a ‘Brother Inspection’, beginning with their brothers’ driving records. Through the ‘Brother Challan Report’, sisters guessed the number of challans their brothers had received and checked the records on the Spinny app. Where the guess matched the actual record, brothers were required to clear their pending challans.

The inspection went beyond driving records. Through the ‘Brother Inspection Report’, sisters also got the opportunity to give their verdict on their brothers as brothers, from their everyday habits and quirks to the things they could probably do better. The exercise brought together the familiar elements of the sibling relationship, with sisters getting a chance to inspect, advise and, of course, prove that they know their brothers better.

The idea comes from the everyday role that sisters play in their brothers’ lives. From reminding them about the things they forget to calling them out when they get something wrong, sisters are often the ones who make sure their brothers are doing what they are supposed to. This Rakhi, Spinny brought that familiar instinct into car ownership, giving sisters one more thing to keep a check on.

For Spinny, the initiative builds on its focus on making car ownership simple and delightful by extending the experience beyond the purchase of a car to the everyday aspects that come with owning one. Checking and paying challans is one such part of car ownership, and the ‘Brother Challan Report’ brings this otherwise routine task into a moment that is personal and familiar.

With the ‘Ministry of Sisters’, Spinny brought together Rakhi, sibling banter, and responsible driving in an experience that was as much about the relationship as about the challan.
