New Delhi, September 7, 2026: Opraah, a creator management company representing some of India’s leading digital creators, announced “OPay: 48 Hour Creator Payments” today; it will pay its exclusive creators within 48 hours of the brand campaign going live, introducing a faster payment standard at a time when creators can often face significantly longer payment cycles.
The move comes as India’s creator economy continues to mature, with creators increasingly operating as businesses with teams, production costs, managers, editors, travel expenses and other operational commitments. While creators are expected to deliver campaigns within tight timelines, payment cycles can often extend for several weeks or months. Opraah believes that the systems supporting creators need to evolve alongside the industry itself.
“The creator economy has evolved, but the systems around creators haven’t evolved at the same pace. Creators today are running real businesses, managing teams and investing significantly into their work. They shouldn’t have to chase money they’ve already earned,” said Pranav Panpalia, Co- Founder, Opraah.
Mansi Panpalia, Co-Founder, Opraah, added, “Professional creators deserve professional systems. Our exclusive creators trust us with an important part of their professional journey, and we believe that trust needs to extend beyond campaigns and opportunities to the way we manage their overall experience, hence OPay.
The 48-hour commitment will apply to Opraah’s exclusive creators and will be subject to the defined payment trigger, including completion of the campaign and fulfilment of the required payment documentation and processes.
The initiative is part of Opraah’s broader effort to build a more creator-first management ecosystem. Opraah sees it as a standard it can establish within the industry itself. “The creator economy has evolved. The way creators get paid should too. This is one step towards building the kind of infrastructure that creators need as their businesses continue to grow,” Added Mansi Panpalia.
With the new policy, Opraah aims to shift the conversation around creator management from simply securing brand opportunities to building a more professional, transparent and creator centric ecosystem, hoping that this internal change will soon become the industry norm.
