White Lotus Bengaluru Squash Open 2026 concludes with five days of high-intensity national circuit squash

Bengaluru, 15th September 2026: The fourth edition of the White Lotus Bengaluru Squash Open 2026 concluded on September 13 at The Bengaluru Club, bringing five days of high-quality competition across Junior, Open and Masters categories to a close.

The tournament was part of the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI) 3 Star National Circuit, with White Lotus Group as the sponsor. The 2026 edition featured 305 players from 21 states, competing across 17 categories spanning U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19, Open and Masters. 

The tournament featured several closely contested encounters and standout performances, with both seeded players and emerging talent making their mark.

In the Men’s Open, fourth seed Kanhav Nanavati defeated second seed Priyanshu Kumar in the final to claim the title, while Priyanshu had earlier produced one of the tournament’s notable results by defeating top seed Adarsh Banodha in the semi-final.

The junior categories also produced several memorable performances. In the Boys U17, unseeded Dinesh R defeated three seeded players on his way to his first-ever national circuit final. In the Boys U11, Vansh Rathi defeated second seed Kandasamy, securing his first win over the player in seven attempts.

The Masters competition added its own share of drama. In the Masters Men Over 55 semi-final, Maharashtra’s Deepak Moolani defeated top seed Santosh Menon of Karnataka after saving four match balls, in one of the closest encounters of the tournament.

The closing ceremony saw winners and runners-up felicitated for their performances across the various categories. The awards were presented by Mr. Chetan CI, COO, White Lotus Group; Mr. B. V. Aditya Setty, Sports Chairman, The Bangalore Club; and Ms. Mekhala Srivastava, Coordinator, Squash Association of Karnataka.

The White Lotus Bengaluru Squash Open comes at an important time for the sport, with squash set to make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Games. As squash continues to strengthen its competitive ecosystem in India, national circuit tournaments such as the Bengaluru Squash Open provide players with opportunities to gain valuable match experience, compete against a wider field and progress through the competitive pathway.
