18th September 2026: Grazia hosted the Grazia Indie Beauty Superstars 2026, co-powered by Rangeela and Yello Glassware, on 17th September 2026 at Soraia Bombay. Bringing together the worlds of beauty, fashion, entertainment and culture, the evening celebrated the names and ideas making beauty more interesting, individual and instinctive today. Spanning skincare, make-up, haircare, bodycare, fragrance, beauty tools and accessories, the awards recognised products that made an impression through innovation, performance and originality, while spotlighting independent, homegrown and new-generation brands bringing fresh energy to India’s beauty landscape.
The awards brought together leading voices from the beauty and creative industries and were judged by an esteemed jury comprising singer and songwriter Lisa Mishra, dermatologist Dr. Madhuri Agarwal, celebrity hairstylist Sonik Sarwate, beauty and fashion expert Ayesha Sanghi and Mehernaaz Dhondy, Editor-in-Chief, Grazia India.
In skincare, HYPHEN, RAS, Sonrisa, ClayCo., Plenaire, Purearth, Gunam Beauty and Flout emerged among the key winners. HYPHEN won Best Toner for its Hydrating Ceramide Toner-Essence, while Gunam Beauty took Best Brightening Serum for its Active Brightening Complex. In makeup, FAE Beauty took Best Highlighter for its Mirror Glaze – Glassy Highlighter Balm, while Kay Beauty took Best Mascara for its Lash Maximizer Mascara. KIRO, Colorbar, Nykaa, Simply Nam, LOVETC, Lakme and PAC also secured top honours across makeup categories. NASO emerged among the key fragrance winners with its Mahogany Cocoa Cinnamon EDP.
In haircare, Forest Essentials, Fix My Curls, The Curl Co., Daughter Earth, indē wild, 3TENX, fHair and Earth Collective secured top honours across key segments, highlighting the growing focus on damage repair, colour protection and textured hair. Bodycare also saw a strong mix of emerging names, with Project Qaafi, Hula Hoop, Whipp’d, Molekulaire, Dearist and Ohria Ayurveda securing top honours across the category.
Beyond core beauty categories, the awards also spotlighted brands and products that have built a distinct place in consumers’ beauty routines. Kama Ayurveda was recognised as a Cult Classic Brand, while Arata took Best Beauty On A Budget. FutureMe secured Best Luxury Splurge, Ikonic Professional was recognised as Forever Favourite, The Bare Bar took Ultimate Travel Companion and Justhuman was named Best Skin Saviour. The awards also recognised the growing role of innovation, accessibility and product-led discovery in shaping the indie beauty landscape.
Namrata Soni was honoured as the Make-up Artist of the Year, Hiral Bhatia as the Hairstylist of the Year, and Mickey Contractor as a Beauty Luminary. Aashna Hegde was recognised as the Beauty Creator of the Year, while Aditi Rao Hydari was celebrated as the Beauty Muse and Dia Mirza as the Timeless Beauty & Sustainability Advocate.
