New Delhi, October, 2026: K2 Infragen Limited has appointed Mr Abhishek Sharma as Deputy General Manager of Supply Chain Management, strengthening its team with an experienced infrastructure procurement professional. The appointment reflects the company’s emphasis on building operational capabilities that support dependable project execution, commercial efficiency and stronger relationships across its supplier ecosystem.
Sharma brings nearly two decades of experience across railways, highways, expressways, hydropower, irrigation, buildings and bridges. His expertise spans procurement planning, supplier negotiations, vendor development, inventory management and coordination between corporate offices and project sites.
Before joining K2 Infragen, Sharma served as Deputy General Manager at Rithwik Projects Private Limited. He previously held the position of Assistant General Manager at PRA India Private Limited and spent approximately eight years with GR Infraprojects Limited as Manager Procurement. His earlier assignments include procurement roles at Kavuru Private Limited, Era Infra Engineering Limited and Valecha Engineering Limited.
His professional experience includes procurement responsibilities associated with the Delhi–Meerut Expressway, the Delhi–Vadodara greenfield corridor, railway doubling and station redevelopment projects. He also brings hands-on experience with SAP and ERP platforms for purchasing, material planning and management reporting.

In his new role, Sharma will contribute to procurement planning, vendor coordination and material availability across project requirements. His focus will include supporting cost efficiency, strengthening purchasing processes and improving coordination between suppliers and execution teams.
