From Ghar Ka Khaana to an Unfinished Saga: Saif Ali Khan Gets Candid with Brut

Mumbai, October 23, 2026: In a candid conversation with Brut, Saif Ali Khan spoke about everything from his love for dal chawal and ghar ka khaana to celebrating 14 years of marriage with Kareena Kapoor Khan. But amidst conversations around childhood memories, cooking and wellness, the actor also revisited a familiar topic, the two-year supply of Gowardhan Ghee that first caught everyone’s attention during his appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

The conversation began with Saif sharing little-known details about himself. He admitted that he loves simple home-cooked meals, choosing dal chawal as his comfort lunch and bhindi as the dish that instantly reminds him of childhood. Asked to pick between a paratha and a dosa, he confessed that while parathas are definitely tastier, dosas probably make the healthier choice.

It wasn’t long before the conversation shifted to life at home. Reflecting on 14 years of marriage, Saif described women as an “eternal and beautiful mystery” when asked what he still hadn’t figured out about Kareena. He also shared his love for cooking, revealing that chicken cooked in ghee is “one of the most amazing things”, before laughingly adding that Kareena even massages ghee onto her feet as part of her wellness routine, a practice he said is rooted in Ayurveda and helps with sleep.

And then came the question many viewers were waiting for.

Has Saif finally received the two-year supply of Gowardhan Ghee that became one of the most talked-about moments from Kaun Banega Crorepati?

The actor laughed before revealing that the wait continues.

Recalling how the entire episode began, Saif said what started off as a light-hearted joke had turned into “such an amazing thing”. But while the conversation has continued, the delivery apparently hasn’t.

Addressing the brand directly, Saif joked, “To all the good people at Gowardhan Ghee, I just want to tell you before things get really serious, I still haven’t received my ghee, okay? And I’m expecting it. So please, let’s honour our commitments.”

What began as a fleeting television moment has now become an ongoing conversation, one that has followed Saif from Kaun Banega Crorepati to his latest chat with Brut. And if the actor’s playful reminder is anything to go by, the story of the much-awaited ghee delivery isn’t over just yet.
