Bengaluru, 04th November 2026: Shree Cement Ltd. today inaugurated a new Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant in Patna, Bihar, under its Bangur Concrete brand. With an installed production capacity of 60 cubic metres per hour, the new facility marks another step in the company’s expansion of its RMC business and strengthens its presence in eastern India.
The plant was inaugurated by Mr. Neeraj Akhoury, Managing Director, Shree Cement Ltd., in the presence of senior company officials and other distinguished guests.
The new facility has been developed to cater to the growing demand for quality ready-mix concrete in Patna and surrounding areas. With infrastructure development, urban expansion and real estate activity driving construction demand across Bihar, the plant will support the timely supply of reliable, high-quality concrete to projects across the region.

With the addition of the Patna facility, Shree Cement’s Bangur Concrete business will expand its RMC network to 36 plants across India, further strengthening its ability to serve customers across key construction markets.
The new facility integrates modern batching technology, optimised material handling and stringent quality control processes to ensure consistency, efficiency and operational excellence. The plant will also follow environmentally responsible operating practices, reinforcing the company’s focus on delivering quality construction solutions while supporting more sustainable building practices.
