New Delhi, 5th March 2026: Anmol Industries Limited has set up a Smart Classroom and a Mini Science Lab at Bonbibitala High School (H.S.) in Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. The facilities were installed under the company’s CSR programme.
The initiatives launched in association with gobtZ Synergy LLP, are aimed at strengthening digital and experiential learning infrastructure at the school. They focus on helping students take more interest in science subjects. The facilities like Smart Class and a Mini Science Lab have been provided to give the students access to practical learning tools inside the classroom. The teachers can use these facilities to impart digital lessons and simple experiments as part of regular teaching.
Through such activities, the company works with schools located near its operational areas. The programme started with a brief welcome of the guests, after which the Smart Class and Mini Science Lab were formally inaugurated.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Dilip Kumar Choudhary, Vice Chairman Anmol Industries Limited said, “Through our CSR efforts, we support initiatives that create long-term value for communities. Strengthening digital and practical learning infrastructure at schools is one such step. We hope these facilities will help students explore subjects with greater confidence.”
The event was attended by several distinguished guests and dignitaries, including Assistant Inspectors (AIs) of Schools in Purba Bardhaman, Mr. Arun Kumar Mondal, Mr. Priyabrata Mukherjee and Mr. Chinmay Sahana. Dr. Chandan Mishra, President Awardee from Naffar Academy High School, Howrah, was also present on the occasion.
Representing Anmol Industries were Mr. Tapas Kumar Dey, Deputy Manager (Admin), Dankuni Plant; Mr. Priyadhan De, Assistant Manager – CSR; Mr. Debaprasad Ghosh, ASM (Purba Bardhaman & Nadia); Mr. Avinash Hazra, Sales Officer; and Mr. Chandrasekhar from Omkar Agency, which is the local distributor of Anmol Industries Limited.
The guests spoke to the students and teachers about the value of using technology and practical experiments in regular classroom teaching. Together with the community members, they also interacted informally about how the new facilities could be used in day-to-day teaching. Head teachers from nearby schools, members of the managing committee, retired teachers, the land donor of the school, local industrialists, guardians and students attended the event.
The students also performed in cultural programmes during the ceremony. Thereafter cakes and biscuits were distributed among the students. The Smart Class and Mini Science Lab have now been made available for regular use by students of the school.
