Apollo Adlux launches Health Corners in KSRTC depots; treatment benefits for employees

Kochi: In a move aimed at ensuring the health and safety of KSRTC passengers and employees, leading multi-speciality hospital Apollo Adlux Hospital has partnered with Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) to implement a set of healthcare initiatives. As part of the collaboration, ‘Apollo Adlux Health Corners’ will be set up in 16 KSRTC depots across Ernakulam and Thrissur districts.

The health partnership was officially announced during the function held in connection with the inauguration of the renovated KSRTC Bus Station building in Ernakulam and the foundation stone laying for the new depot building. The Health Corners will be equipped with essential facilities useful in emergency situations for both passengers and staff, including first aid boxes, wheelchairs, and machines to measure body weight and height. Under the initiative, special treatment benefits will also be extended at Apollo Adlux Hospital to serving and retired KSRTC employees and their family members (parents, spouse, and children).

In addition to free OP registration, employees will receive a 20 percent discount on consultation fees and 15 percent discount on in-house diagnostic tests. A 30 percent concession on Apollo health check-up packages and 10 percent discount on IP treatments (excluding certain procedures) will also be provided. Hospital authorities also informed that free health awareness classes and medical camps will be organised for KSRTC employees as part of the programme.
