Bengaluru, 06th October : bigbasket, a TATA Enterprise, today announced the completion of a comprehensive self-audit of its quick commerce platform in line with the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) guidelines and advisories of 2023 and 2025 for the prevention and regulation of dark patterns. The declaration of audit completion has been formally submitted to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.

This self-audit by bigbasket, reflects the company’s commitment to building a consumer-first ecosystem grounded in transparency, accountability, and trust. Dark patterns are misleading or manipulative digital practices that compromise consumer choice, and the CCPA has directed all e-commerce companies to conduct regular self-audits to ensure compliance.
