Mumbai, July 2025; Woodside Inn’s iconic Beer & Burger Festival is hitting a major milestone this July in Mumbai, turning 18 with a special “Coming of Age: Growing Up in Mumbai” theme that pays homage to the city’s unique charm and the experiences that shape its residents. This year, Woodside Inn’s Beer and Burger Festival of icially becomes an adult! And with that, we have endeavoured to present the festival in a brand new format. This year’s theme encapsulates the essence of growing up – as people, as a brand in our beautiful city of Mumbai” shares Pankil Shah, adding that the theme “encapsulates the essence of growing up—as people, as a brand in our beautiful city of Mumbai—through burgers and beers that feel like home.” From July 7th to 27th, 2025, all three Woodside Inn outposts in Colaba, Andheri, and Bandra will serve up a menu brimming with nostalgic comfort food, reimagined with a twist, and for the first time ever, the festival will also feature an indulgent lineup of sandwiches.
This year’s burger menu at Woodside Inn is a full-blown nostalgia trip through Mumbai’s many moods, each bite crafted to transport you back in time. Start with “Rainy Day Romance,” a reimagined delight co-created with Mumbai Foodie. This creamy miso corn curd patty, topped with togarashi and garlic aioli in a soft milk bun, perfectly captures the cozy comfort of sharing bhutta under an umbrella. It’s best paired with “High Tea,” an ale that pays homage to Mumbai’s iconic cutting chais, with its silky, creamy texture brewed from barley malts and oats.

Reimagined & co-created with MUMBAI FOODIE as a creamy miso corn curd patty with togarashi and garlic aioli, in a milk bun best paired “HIGH TEA” hat tip to Mumbai’s iconic cutting chais, this silky, creamy ale is brewed with barley malts and oats for a soft, pillowy base.“B-Day Binge”Time travel to a 90s kiddie b’day party with chicken cutlets, wafers & chocolate cake on flimsy paper plates, best paired with the mango-packed Aam-Chi Ale, a juicy and hazy American pale ale. “Super Sixer” Remember when hitting a six meant high fives and feeling like the next Tendulkar? They are replaying this big six with 6 mini b**f smash patties, blue cheese and mozzarella cream, kale, caramelised onions and peri peri mango pickle, in a milk bun made for sipping alongside a Nariyal Knockout cold IPA. “Half-Time Hero” features watching films = 70 mm screens, and intermissions = greasy samosas and keema pavs from adjoining Irani cafes! And lastly in burger a “Brekkie Egg-Venture” is an egg-citing take featuring a Teriyaki glazed pillowy okonomiyaki frittata, kewpie and sesame mayo with crispy Maggi, in a potato bun.
After ageing gracefully for 18 years, Woodside adds a new twist to its iconic fest — sandwiches! Each one draws from memories of Mumbai grilled with flavours of today with sandwiches like the. “Hangover Hang-Out” Memories of dodgy Old Monks, after which
even the greasiest of sandwiches tasted like heaven, this is after-hours memory with Old Monk and Thums Up braised pulled pork, topped with yellow cheddar & pickles, sandwiched in a Hokkaido milk bread. best paired Reckless Rebel, an imperial pilsner- a bold, modern take on a classic (remember your first beer?). Brewed with a clean, bready malt backbone and a honey sweetness that’s balanced by crisp bitterness. The second sandwich is “Plat(e)form No. 1” is a throwback to bone realigning rides on 8 coach Mumbai Locals, only comforted with a Mumbai Sandwich made with Monte Cristo inspired Mumbai toastie
packs in double fried crusty potatoes, green peppers, pickles and zesty beet ketchup, AMUL processed cheese, in castor sugar dusted Hokkaido milk bread and paired with a Drunken Nut Light, smooth, and a bit nutty ale packs in notes of roasted peanuts, a hint of salt and memories and lastly the “Canteen Champ”, made with an ode to the classic chutney cheese sandwich is spiced with bhavnagri chilli pesto basted grilled chicken, mozzarella cream, pineapple pico de gallo, sandwiched in a masala babka paired with Dark Melody – a pastry stout brewed in collaboration with The Bombay Canteen a sweet symphony of caramel, chocolate, and vanilla – decadent, creamy, and dangerously nostalgic.
