Mumbai, 22 December 2025: Microdramas – short, vertically filmed series with episodes spanning a minute or two, are redefining how audiences experience stories on their mobile screens. Pocket Aces’ flagship short-form fiction channel, FilterCopy, is leading this microdrama wave in digital entertainment with stories that blend emotion, innovation, and brand storytelling.
Building on its legacy of creating snackable, story-first content, FilterCopy has delivered a varied slate of microdramas across platforms and brand partnerships. The most recent one is Two Much Love – a 20-episode shoppable fiction microdrama streaming on Myntra Glamstream that redefines interactive storytelling by allowing audiences to shop directly from the show.
In the past few months, FilterCopy has also created branded microdramas on Instagram like Two of Us with iPill and Love IRL with Hyundai, bringing emotional, cinematic storytelling to native social formats. It further experimented with music-led storytelling through Ishq at Campus – a microdrama on Instagram and YouTube Shorts promoting singer Maahi’s EP Talab. Taking the format to OTT, FilterCopy produced Teen Yaar Twisted Pyaar, a 55-episode microdrama streaming on ZEE5’s Bullet.
Creators managed by Clout, Pocket Aces’ influencer arm, are also leading the charge in this space. RJ Karishma’s microdrama Bright Bhavishya Loading became a widely loved hit on IG and YT Shorts, while Arjun Pandey’s viral microdramas – Mard Bacho and NEETly Scammed showcased his knack for sharp, socially relevant storytelling. Anusmita Dutta’s Mecho and Preeti Sarkar’s Bhul Theke Shuru and Bari Phera further demonstrate regional coverage & the creative diversity thriving within the format.
“FilterCopy has always been at the forefront of short-form storytelling and now, we’re channeling that expertise into creating microdramas” said D2C head Vishwanath Shetty, who also leads the FilterCopy business. “Creators are already fluent in vertical storytelling, and microdramas give them the canvas to expand their ideas into longer, narrative-driven formats,” added Ankit Panicker, Business Head at Clout. “At Clout, our creators are tapping into the microdrama space across genres and regions, pushing the format forward with fresh perspectives and compelling stories.”
With its blend of creative experimentation, branded innovation, and audience insight, FilterCopy continues to reaffirm its leadership in India’s growing short form content space, thus setting the tone for what’s next in digital storytelling.
