India – Jaipur Rugs, in partnership with Archdais, is excited to reveal the winners of the “Jaipur Rugs Pavilion – Design & Build Competition,” a worldwide initiative that highlights the fusion of craftsmanship, community, and modern design.
This year’s competition received an impressive response, with more than 1300 designers from global participants reinterpreting the essence of Jaipur Rugs — weaving narratives of craftsmanship, bravery, and emotion into their designs. Participants from regions including Delhi, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Ernakulam, Goa, Tamil Nadu, and Chennai contributed their unique viewpoints, with each entry showcasing a blend of innovation, culture, and artistry.
The much-awaited competition witnessed an overwhelming global response, with participants from countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland
Following a thorough evaluation by a respected jury, the winners of this year’s competition are:
1st Prize: Rishabh Dae & Sanskruti Agrawal – Bangalore
2nd Prize: Dhruv Soni & Dhanav Tandon – Mumbai
3rd Prize: Tangible Intangible Design Office & Himanshu Chopra – New Delhi
