New Delhi, July 21th 2025: The AIFACS Gallery in New Delhi is undergoing an exciting debut with the solo exhibition of emerging artist Khushi Khandelwal with her exhibition “What’s Under My Skin?” from July 18 to July 24, 2025, at Gallery A, All India Fine Arts & Crafts Society. An opening ceremony of her solo exhibition was held today. The amazing artworks by Khushi are up for public display starting from today.
What’s Under My Skin? is not simply an exhibition; it is a window into the artist’s internal challenge – a challenge that is influenced, at times, by the insidious subtext of emotion that often characterizes our lives. With her collection, Khushi examines how layering is quietly rolling beneath the surface of what most people live with, but hardly articulate: anxiety, fragility, and psychological exposure. Those who walk the gallery will find themselves before paintings that define a type of language within tools of realism and abstraction, as well as narratives that endure even after one has left that space.
Since its opening day, the exhibition has been vibrant with activity attracting diverse groups, from art fans, artists, students, collectors, and critics all wandering day by day into the galleries of the exhibition space. In fact, many attendees have been observed spending long amounts of time in front of single canvases considering the layers, textures, and each individual symbol of meaning in the works. If anyone is tempted to take a piece of this narrative, original works and curated prints are up for sale, making the purchase of Khushi’s art accessible to those who would like to begin (or add to) their collection of art work.
“I’m just so blown away by the crowd and all these genuine reactions,” said Khushi Khandelwal, standing amidst visitors discussing her work. “Seeing so many people connect with what I made, and even hearing those people share their own stories with me, has been so touching. I never imagined experiencing so much kindness and engagement, and that is something I’ll cherish forever.”
In What’s Under My Skin?, Khushi puts herself out there by sharing a deeply personal conversation with the greater community, giving us pause, prompting reflection, and asking us to connect with what is under our own skin. The continued presence of attendees and conversations at What’s Under My Skin? indicate not only the success of the exhibition, but the initiation of an exciting chapter in Khushi Khandelwal’s artistic journey.
