Bengaluru, 22nd September – Openhouse, an innovative family learning centre, has officially launched its newest learning centre in Haralur, Bengaluru, marking another major milestone in its mission to reimagine early childhood education for modern Indian families. The new Haralur Centre, nestled in the heart of this rapidly growing neighbourhood, has been established in response to rising demand from local parents who previously accessed Openhouse centres in Sarjapur.
Rooted in a play-based, community-driven learning philosophy, Openhouse aims to offer a joyful, flexible educational experience tailored to the needs of both children and working families in the Haralur area.
Spanning 7000 sq. ft, the new centre is a thoughtfully designed, multi-functional space that includes makerspaces, art and music ateliers, sensory classrooms, sand and water play zones, and a well-stocked children’s library. With capacity for over 200+ children and a team of 20+ trained educators, the centre reflects Openhouse’s commitment to blending care, creativity, and curriculum in a warm, nurturing environment.
Akshay Rampuria, Co-founder, shared “Haralur stood out as a vibrant, fast-growing community that shares our values around collaborative learning and strong neighbourhood ties. As more families seek meaningful, flexible education closer to home, we saw a clear opportunity to serve that need. This launch is a step forward in our larger vision to build a network of learning communities across India with new centres planned in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Raipur, Hyderabad and beyond by 2026.”
Yash Poddar, Co-founder, added “What makes Openhouse different is that we design for the whole family, not just the child. In a city like Bengaluru where parents juggle demanding careers and active home lives families are looking for more than just a preschool or daycare. They want trust, flexibility, and a space where their children can thrive. The Haralur centre brings that vision to life warm, rooted in creativity, and built for the modern Indian household.”
As with all its locations, the Haralur centre offers a seamless blend of preschool, daycare, extracurricular programs, holiday camps, and weekend workshops. Children explore enriching activities like robotics, theatre, music, art, and more in a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The curriculum integrates global best practices with regional nuances, ensuring every child’s learning journey feels relevant, inclusive, and joyful.
With the Haralur launch, Openhouse continues to pave the way for a new era of family-first education one that grows with children and supports working families every step of the way.
