Protean eGov Technologies inaugurates Aadhaar Seva Kendra in Saki Naka, Mumbai

Mumbai, December 30, 2025: Protean eGov Technologies Ltd. (BSE: 544021; NSE: INE004A01022), a pioneer in building population-scale Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), today announced the launch of a new Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) at Saki Naka, Mumbai, under a mandate from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The new centre aims to improve citizen access to Aadhaar enrolment and update services in one of the city’s busiest residential and commercial corridors.

The newly launched Aadhaar Seva Kendra will offer a comprehensive suite of walk-in services, including Aadhaar enrolment, demographic and biometric updates, Aadhaar authentication, and e-KYC services. Designed to deliver a consistent, secure, and citizen-friendly experience, the centre aims to ensure timely and reliable resolution of Aadhaar-related requirements.

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Suresh Sethi, Managing Director & CEO, Protean eGov Technologies Ltd., said, “We laud the government’s vision to establish a nationwide footprint of Aadhaar Seva Kendras (ASKs) as Centres of Excellence (COEs) for all services related to Aadhaar. DDG, RO Mumbai accompanied by Director and Deputy Director Maharashtra visited the Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) Sakinaka, Mumbai to formally commence the full-scale operations of the centre. During his address to the entire staff, he emphasized the importance of serving citizens with compassion and empathy, reminding them that as representatives of UIDAI, they carry the responsibility of upholding trust and dignity in every interaction.

He lauded the proactive efforts of Protean in establishing the ASK as a true center of excellence for UIDAI services, acknowledging their commitment to operational readiness and service quality.

In addition to guiding the staff, the DDG also interacted with residents at the newly operationalised ASK, listening to their experiences and encouraging them to make full use of the services available. His engagement with the community reinforced UIDAI’s mission of citizen-centric service delivery and highlighted the ASK as a model of accessibility, efficiency and care. 

The launch follows Protean’s recent mandate from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to establish and operate Aadhaar Seva Kendras across multiple districts in the country. Under this mandate, Protean will roll out Aadhaar Seva Kendras across 188 districts nationwide, reinforcing UIDAI’s vision of strengthening last-mile delivery of identity services and improving citizen convenience.

The inauguration reinforces Protean’s ongoing role as a trusted partner in building and operating resilient, inclusive, and population-scale Digital Public Infrastructure that directly impacts citizens’ everyday lives.
