MUMBAI, November 21, 2025: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) organised its flagship quiz, TCS InQuizitive 2025 Mumbai edition, which brimmed with energy and sharp competition. The electrifying quiz competition in the city saw students showcasing quick reflexes and impressive knowledge as they competed for a coveted spot in the National Finale. As part of the 12-city national series for students from classes 8 to 12, the Mumbai edition of TCS InQuizitive witnessed participation from over 80 teams representing 20 schools, including spirited participation from districts such as Thane, Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Ahmednagar, and Raigad.
After a gripping and tightly contested finale, Roshan Kanna and Vivaan Kundetkar from Hiranandani Foundation School, Thane, emerged as the winners. Their composure, accuracy, and presence of mind helped them stand out in the final moments, securing their place in the National Finale, where they will compete with top-performing teams from across India. The Mumbai edition was graced by Mr. Hare Krishna Jena, Managing Director of Clearing Corporation of India Ltd (CCIL), as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Ujjwal Mathur and Mr. Manoj Indulkar, who represented Tata Consultancy Services on the dais.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ujjwal Mathur, Senior Vice President & Country Head – India, Tata Consultancy Services, said, “Every time I’ve been here, I’ve learnt something new. It is all about courage – one that comes from participating. It takes courage to raise your hand and press the buzzer. That spirit reflects what TCS stands for – the spirit of questioning, answering and solving problems. In all the seven years I’ve attended this event, every edition has taught me something different. And with each passing year, the teams keep getting better and better.”
TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative that has been inspiring young minds for over two decades. Introduced with the aim to spark curiosity and expand awareness among students from Grades 8 to 12, it covers diverse fields, including information technology, science, sports, engineering and art. The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The competition will culminate in a semi-final and grand finale, where one school will be crowned the TCS InQuizitive National Champions of 2025.
