Royaloak Furniture Expands Owned Retail Footprint in Bengaluru With Two New Stores; Actor Ms. Ashika Ranganath Inaugurates the Royaloak Banashankari Outlet

Bangalore, January 8, 2026: Royaloak Furniture, India’s No. 1 furniture brand, has further strengthened its presence in Bengaluru with the launch of two new company-owned stores in Rajajinagar and Banashankari. This expansion adds to the 200+ stores Royaloak operates across India and the United Arab Emirates. The Banshankari store was inaugurated by Ms. Ashika Ranganath, actor. Royaloak leaders – Mr. Vijai Subramaniam, Chairman; Mr. Mathan Subramaniam, Managing Director; Mr. Chetan Kumar, President; and Mr. Sunil Sadagopal, Vice President, were present for the inauguration of both stores.

Bengaluru remains one of Royaloak’s most strategic markets, with the city being one of the key demand centres of India’s overall furniture demand, driven by rapid urbanisation, rising home ownership, and evolving lifestyle aspirations. The twin store launches reflect Royaloak’s focused strategy of maintaining a high-density retail network within key neighbourhood clusters, ensuring that customers can access a full, immersive furniture shopping experience within a short driving distance.

Furniture buying remains a tactile, experience-led decision for most Indian consumers, where seeing, touching, and evaluating products in person plays a critical role. By operating multiple stores within a 5–7 km radius across major residential and commercial belts, Royaloak is ensuring ease of access, stronger brand recall, and convenience for customers searching for reliable, nearby furniture destinations. This approach also strengthens Royaloak’s visibility in established furniture corridors such as Rajajinagar and Banashankari, areas known for their furniture retail ecosystems.

“Bengaluru has always been a cornerstone of Royaloak’s growth journey. With the launch of these two new stores, we want to show our continued commitment to the city where we started our journey from,” said Mr. Vijai Subramaniam, Chairman, Royaloak Furniture. “Our strategy is simple. We want to be closer to our customers, offer a superior in-store experience, and ensure that international-quality furniture is accessible across every part of Bengaluru. As consumer preferences evolve, physical retail continues to play a decisive role in furniture buying, and these launches strengthen our ability to serve the city better.”

The new stores feature refreshed display formats, enhanced layouts, and the latest product collections across living, dining, bedroom, office, and home décor categories. Customers will have access to Royaloak’s signature international collections, including American, Italian, Malaysian, and Wood World ranges, designed to balance global aesthetics with functionality and value for Indian homes.

Mr. Mathan Subramaniam, Managing Director, Royaloak Furniture, added, “From a retail standpoint, our growth in Bengaluru is about building depth. With over 4.5 lakh square feet of owned retail space in the city, and 24 thousand square feet added through these two new stores, we are strengthening one of the largest furniture retail networks in not just Bangalore, but the country. High-density city clusters like Bengaluru allow us to optimise logistics, inventory planning, and last-mile delivery while maintaining consistency across store formats. As the market continues to shift towards organised retail, scale and control of physical infrastructure become critical advantages.”

The Indian home furniture market is estimated to reach USD 27.27 billion in 2026, growing at a CAGR of 8.24 percent, with organised retail continuing to gain share. Despite the rise of e-commerce, specialty

physical stores account for nearly 75 percent of total furniture retail revenue. Royaloak’s city-cluster expansion model aligns closely with this shift, combining scale with accessibility.

With over 10 million happy customers and one of the largest owned retail networks in the country, Royaloak continues to invest in high-potential urban markets while strengthening its leadership in affordable international furniture. The brand plans to continue expanding its footprint across Bengaluru and other key cities in the months ahead, supported by new product introductions and evolving store formats.
