Shopsy’s End-of-Season Sale Elevates Style for Tier‑2 Shoppers, Fueling Demand for Fashion and Beauty Products

Millennials emerged as the leading customer segment fueling robust demand for fashion and beauty products

30th June 2025: Shopsy by Flipkart wrapped up its much-awaited End of Season Sale (EOSS), held recently. Aimed at bringing the latest fashion trends and monsoon essentials to value-conscious shoppers across Bharat, the sale delivered an impressive growth compared to the previous edition.

Shopsy’s EOSS resonated strongly with Bharat shoppers, with Millennials driving the majority of purchases in both Fashion and Beauty categories, followed by Gen Z and Gen X, showcasing Shopsy’s broad multi-generational appeal. Women’s jewelry and makeup emerged as the top-performing categories. In Fashion, cotton kurtas, printed shirts, and casual loungewear were top sellers, while Beauty saw a surge in skincare and grooming products, including sunscreens, lipsticks, and makeup kits. Shoppers increasingly bundled coordinated outfits and trend-based beauty kits, reflecting a growing appetite for curated, value-driven purchases. 

The sale saw robust participation from Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 cities, with states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu leading in order volumes.

Distinct regional preferences were evident, particularly in eastern India, where organza sarees, party wear sarees, chikankari kurtas, and Anarkali suits were among the most popular choices. 

Search trends revealed a mix of staples and seasonal hits. In Fashion, t-shirts, shoes, and kurtis led the pack, while Beauty searches highlighted makeup kits, waterproof lipsticks, and face washes—blending everyday essentials with fashion must-haves. Shopping peaked at 1 PM and 9 PM, reflecting shoppers’ preferences for midday and evening browsing, perfectly in sync with their daily routines.

The sale’s signature price-led events, Under ₹199/- Bazaar, ₹299/- Super Savers, and ₹499/- Premium Picks, drove high engagement, with 17% of fashion orders under ₹100/- and 28% of beauty orders under ₹100/-.

Tier 2+ markets are fueling India’s e-commerce boom, driven by increased internet access and digital confidence. As a homegrown brand, Shopsy delivers quality products at great value, making the online shopping experience seamless and accessible to Bharat’s shoppers.
