Rooted in the belief that true rest begins with a calm mind, Sleepwell came on board for the 4th time as Presenting Partner – The Sacred Amritsar, a cultural festival celebrating mystic poetry, music, heritage, and reflection.
Held from 21st to 22nd February 2026 across key venues in Amritsar including the historic Gobindgarh Fort, the festival brought together artists and audiences for a shared experience centred on Sukoon.
A brand that understands Sukoon beyond sleep, Sleepwell’s association with the festival was rooted in a shared philosophy that comfort lies in comforting others.
Commenting on the association Namita Gautam, Director at Sleepwell, expressed that at Sleepwell, we are in the business of helping people sleep well. While we continuously innovate to create the best possible mattresses, we also recognize a larger truth, quality sleep cannot exist in isolation from the mind. This is where The Sacred Amritsar represents that very essence calm, reflection, and emotional stillness. Through the medium of music and culture, we are able to contribute to that sense of sukoon.
The festival programme seamlessly blended music, conversation, and heritage. Morning sessions featured classical and devotional expressions that invited introspection. The quieter moments transitioned into immersive evening performances where history and music converged under the open skies of Amritsar.
Among the most memorable highlights were the soul-stirring performances by Usha Uthup and Kailash Kher, whose powerful yet deeply emotive renditions resonated strongly with audiences.
Complementing the performances were heritage walks, inviting participants to slow down and engage with Amritsar’s layered history, an experience that further reinforced the festival’s ethos of mindful presence. The Sacred Amritsar drew a wide cross-section of audiences, families, cultural enthusiasts, professionals, young adults, and members of the local community, making it a truly inclusive celebration.
