Soulinaire Arrives in Alibaug

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, announces the launch of its first flagship Soulinaire restaurant in Alibaug, Mumbai. Soulinaire, IHCL’s signature lifestyle catering brand, now finds a permanent home on the Alibaug boardwalk, bringing a vibrant new culinary destination overlooking the Arabian Sea.

Over the years, Soulinaire has evolved into one of India’s most sought-after culinary curators. From orchestrating large-scale events across the country to hosting the most coveted private celebrations and intimate home gatherings, it has become a name synonymous with creativity, craft and celebration.

Today, Soulinaire carries forward that legacy of warmth and artistry with its first flagship restaurant — a space reimagined for Alibaug’s easy, sun-drenched rhythm, where the spirit of hospitality meets the soul of the coast.

Mr. Somnath Mukherjee, Executive Vice President, West and Head of Food and Beverage- IHCL, said, “Soulinaire represents IHCL’s commitment to delivering elevated and immersive gastronomic experiences. From its inception as a bespoke catering service, it has grown into a brand synonymous with innovation, craftsmanship and warmth. The first flagship restaurant in Alibaug embodies the brand’s philosophy of thoughtful hospitality and culinary artistry.”

Soulinaire Alibaug isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a coastal escape that begins the moment you step off the ferry. You’ll hear it before you see it: laughter, clinking glasses and music rolling in with the tide. Perched on the boardwalk and overlooking the Arabian Sea – this 200-seater, two-storey destination reimagines seaside dining with a seamless blend of alfresco elegance and indoor comfort.

The ground floor opens like a postcard stretches into a breezy terrace and a cool, air-conditioned interior. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame uninterrupted sea views, while handcrafted fans spin lazily overhead. A striking circular bar anchors the space, inviting conversations that begin with “just one drink.” Sunlight dances off the indoor pool, adding a touch of tropical indulgence to the relaxed coastal vibe.

The first floor shifts the mood with bamboo, jute, and sun-washed brick setting the tone for a private banquet space that’s part tiki bar, part coastal chic. At it’s heart is a live kitchen and focal food counters that draws you in like a stage. A wraparound balcony opens to panoramic views that make time stand still making it a perfect space for intimate gatherings and grand celebrations, all bathed in the amber glow of the elevated bar as the sun dips below the horizon.

From cocktails on the deck to comfort food by the pool, Soulinaire is built for the good life with a menu that reads like a mixtape — nostalgic, new-age and designed to match every mood.

The experience begins with a drink in hand — cocktails that feel like stories waiting to be told. The Alibaug Sling blends gin, cherry liqueur and pomelo into a sunset-hued sip that tastes like holiday beginnings. The Mai Tai layers white and dark rum with orgeat for a tropical twist that lingers like laughter on the breeze. For something sparkling, the Aperol Spritz and Limoncello Spritz bring effervescence and citrus to the table — light, bright, and made for golden hour. The Cherry Blossom Highball is a floral flirtation of whiskey and cherry bitters, while the Espresso Martini turns caffeine into charisma. And for those who like their stories bold, the Sunset Negroni — with coconut fat-washed Campari — is a slow sip that tastes like the sea meeting the sky.
