This December, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre invites audiences to step into the enchanting world of The Nutcracker on Ice even before they enter the theatre. Presented by the internationally acclaimed Imperial Ice Stars, the production will transform The Grand Theatre into a gleaming ice rink from December 4 – 14, bringing Olympic-level ice skating, spellbinding acrobatics, and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score to India for the very first time.
As the show prepares to open, NMACC has unveiled a unique, immersive outdoor experience designed to spark festive excitement across the city. At Carter Road, Bandra, a special snowfall billboard brings the magic to life from December 1 – 7. Each evening, a large-format billboard featuring the show’s signature visual comes alive with a gentle, lifelike snowfall, as soft flurries turn the bustling stretch into a mini winter spectacle. Running from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, it creates a scroll-stopping, highly shareable moment for onlookers and passer-by.
This activation sets the stage for more Christmas delights at the Cultural Centre. Guests can enjoy a range of holiday-themed offerings across NMACC, including a Snow Globe Photobooth in The Grand Theatre foyer, Nutcracker-inspired Christmas décor throughout the premises, and special Starbucks Celebration Drinks at the Level 1 concessions.
Together, these winter wonders create a warm, joyful build-up to The Nutcracker on Ice, making NMACC the city’s unmissable holiday destination!
