The Scindia School Hosts Literary Fest to Inspire Young Minds on Children’s Day

Celebrating creativity, expression, and the power of storytelling among young learners

Gwalior, November 18th, 2025 The Scindia School celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm and warmth, marking the occasion with a vibrant blend of creativity, learning, and community spirit.

The day’s celebrations commenced with the inauguration of the Scindia Literary Festival 2025 in the afternoon, setting the tone for three enriching days dedicated to literature, language, and imagination. The annual festival, held from November 14 to 16, brought together acclaimed authors such as Ms. Divya Jain (The Champion Within), Mr. Deepak Dalal (Vikramaditya Series), and Mr. Sadaf Hussain (Masala Mandi), along with several other distinguished writers including Jayantika Dave, Mudita and Aditya Mubayi, and Abha Sharma.

The sessions offered students an engaging glimpse into the world of storytelling, creativity, and imagination. Through interactive discussions and workshops, students had the opportunity to connect with the authors, pose thoughtful questions, and draw inspiration from their writing journeys, an experience that left them motivated and inspired.

As evening descended, the Children’s Day celebrations continued with a special entertainment programme presented by the teachers, delighting students and filling the campus with laughter and joy. A festive dinner followed, adding to the sense of togetherness that defines The Scindia School tradition.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ajay Singh, Principal of The Scindia School said, “It was heartening to witness the campus come alive with such beautiful energy and curiosity. The Literary Fest not only celebrated the joy of reading but also encouraged our students to think deeply, question fearlessly, and express creatively. Pairing it with the Children’s Day festivities made the week truly special and reflected the true spirit of learning”,

The three-day celebration concluded on a high note, leaving students inspired to read, reflect, and embrace the joy of learning through stories and imagination. The event stood as a testament to The Scindia School’s continued commitment to nurturing young minds and fostering a lifelong love for learning and literature.
