The Visual House Celebrates 15 Years of Purpose-Led Storytelling and Creative Impact

From a single-room studio to a multi-city creative powerhouse, the agency reflects on a decade and a half of telling stories that matter.

New Delhi, July 21, 2025: Marking 15 years in the creative and communication space, The Visual House (TVH) reflects on a journey that began with a single camera and a big vision, and has since grown into a cross-border agency working at the intersection of storytelling, strategy, and social impact. Founded by entrepreneur Deepmala, TVH started as a production studio and has steadily evolved into a full-fledged communication agency with a diverse portfolio spanning public health, education, governance, consumer brands, and digital innovation. Over the years, the agency has partnered with organisations like UNICEF, WHO, NACO, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Flipkart, Nestlé, Oppo, and UNIDO, delivering campaigns that strike a balance between creativity and cultural sensitivity.

At the core of TVH’s philosophy is storytelling that not only informs but inspires. From crafting the youth-led rap anthem #EkAisiDuniya for World AIDS Day, to sensitively addressing transgender identity through the short film Ek Jhalak (now streaming on Amazon miniTV), their work has consistently reflected issues that matter. Other notable projects include sanitation awareness campaigns in Africa, COVID-19 communication interventions, and grassroots advocacy on child marriage and education.

TVH’s efforts have been recognised with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for Best Emerging Production House, as well as for Best Social Cause Campaign (NHPC), and Audience Choice & Critics’ Awards at the Tagore International Film Festival.. Deepmala was recently named one of Social Samosa’s Super Women 2025 and honoured as Adgully’s Women Agency Head of the Year.

In 2025, TVH expanded to Dubai, tapping into the creative momentum of the MENA region. The move was not just about scaling globally but engaging with new voices and building stories that resonate beyond geography. As markets increasingly demand purpose-driven, tech-enabled narratives, TVH continues to blend cultural insight with innovation across formats like AR, AI, and interactive digital media.

As it steps into the next chapter, The Visual House remains rooted in its founding belief: that stories, when told with empathy and intention, can shift perspectives, build movements, and make people feel seen. “We didn’t set out to be the biggest. We set out to be meaningful, and that’s what continues to drive us,” says Deepmala, Founder and CEO of The Visual House.

Beyond client campaigns, TVH has also built a people-first work culture. The agency is known for its strong gender and inclusion policies, flexible parental leave, and commitment to fair hiring practices. Internally, the team is driven by shared values, creative freedom, and the belief that great work stems from a safe and empowering environment.
