Tourism Reels / YouTube Shorts Making Bootcamp tomorrow To be organised by the Tourism Committee of FTCCI & CreatorWerse

40,000 crore Reels and Shorts are watched across the globe every day Reels are the most honest form of Tourism Promotion. Earlier, only governments promoted tourism. Today, every traveller is a tourism ambassador

Hyderabad, January 16, 2026….A first-of-its-kind workshop, ‘Tourism Reels / YouTube Shorts Making Bootcamp,’ will be held tomorrow from 10 am to 1 pm for 3 hours at CreatorWerse in Jubilee Hills. Once they learn in-house, the participants will be taken outdoors, covering 3 locations, so they get hands-on experience after a week on 24th January. It is designed to turn everyday travellers into powerful digital storytellers.

It is organised by the Tourism Committee of FTCCI in association with CreatorWerse– India’s First Content Factory. This exclusive bootcamp will teach you how to craft stunning, high-impact tourism reels that inspire, engage, and go viral.

The Bootcamp in Reels/YouTube Shorts making is planned in the backdrop of Tourism Reel Contest, Tourism Committee announced some time ago and is currently underway. This is organised to facilitate and encourage more participation in the Reel Contest of “Tourism Weekend Getaways of Hyderabad”.  The overall objective behind this initiative is to see more Reels made on Tourism Potential of Telangana and promote Telangana Tourism, popular tourism destinations as well as lesser-known destinations.

Reel is not a trend; it’s the future of digital communication.  The human brain processes video 60,000 times faster than text.  This is an era of social videos.  If you don’t know how to make a Reel, you will struggle to be seen.  You will be invisible online.  It is said that if you are not online, you are dead offline.  If you don’t know how to make reels, you will be left behind.  In the era of the internet, content is the king. And within the content, original content is the king.  And within the original content, video content is the king, and within the video content, short video content is the real king.  With this background in mind and the potential of Telangana Tourism, FTCCI Tourism Committee is organising this bootcamp, said Co-Chairman of Tourism Committee of FTCCI D. Ramchandram.

Today, attention is the new currency.  People don’t read brochures anymore.  They feel destinations—through reels.  A Tourism reel is not just a video.  It is a first impression.  And first impressions decide journeys.  Reels are the new travel decision makers.  Most travel decisions today are made before a Google search happens.  They happen while scrolling.  Tourism Reels turn ordinary places into destinations.  Many beautiful places remain unknown, not because they lack beauty, but because they lack visibility. A 30 second Reels can fill hotel rooms, create jobs, provide income to local communities, support local vendors, and increase footfall for small businesses.  Reels are the most honest form of Tourism Promotion.

Earlier, only governments promoted tourism.  Today, every traveller is a tourism ambassador

The bootcamp aims to empower travellers and tourism stakeholders with practical reel-making skills, encouraging wider participation and higher-quality content for promoting weekend tourism destinations around Hyderabad.

Led by Dr. Mani Pavitra—Orthodontist-turned-Finance Mentor, ISB alumnus, serial entrepreneur, social activist, and the visionary behind CreatorWerse—this workshop goes far beyond technical training. It is a creative movement built to empower travel enthusiasts, resort owners, homestay hosts, backpackers, tour operators, solo travellers, and content-curious wanderers to master the art of digital travel storytelling.

With 52 state-of-the-art Story Rooms, CreatorWerse provides the perfect ecosystem to learn the skills, tools, and confidence needed to create reels that showcase Telangana’s vibrant weekend tourism hotspots like never before.

Whether you promote a staycation, run a travel business, or simply love exploring new places, this workshop is your gateway to becoming a next-generation travel content creator.

The Tourism Reel / Shorts Making Bootcamp is offered at a nominal fee of just ₹500 per participant, with registrations accepted on a first-come, first-registered basis. The objective of the bootcamp is to boost participation in the FTCCI Reel Contest, focused on weekend tourism spots around Hyderabad. The workshop is limited to 50 participants only and will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, as a full-day program.
