Jaipur, October 2025: CavinKare Pvt. Ltd. and Ability Foundation proudly announce the call for nominations for the 24th edition of the CavinKare Ability Awards 2026—one of India’s most respected platforms that honours outstanding achievers with disabilities.
Since its inception in 2003, the CavinKare ABILITY Awards have recognized 101 exemplary individuals from across the country, each of whom has challenged stereotypes and redefined possibilities through sheer grit, talent, and determination. Now entering its 24th year, the awards continue to spotlight voices of resilience and stories of extraordinary achievement that inspire the nation.
Nominations are invited under two categories:
- The CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence – recognising an individual with disability, the founder of an organisation that has had a transformative impact on society.
- The CavinKare Ability Mastery Awards – celebrating individuals with disabilities who have achieved distinction and excellence in their chosen domains
Awardees will receive a cash prize of ₹ 2 lakhs for The CavinKare Ability Award for Eminence, and ₹1 lakh for The CavinKare Ability Mastery Awards, along with a citation and a trophy—a symbol of honour for their perseverance and contributions. Reaffirming the significance of the initiative, the organizers highlighted that the awards not only applaud personal triumphs but also aim to change societal perspectives on disability, encouraging inclusivity and empowerment at every level.
Eligible nominees must be Indian nationals with disabilities as recognised under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Individuals may either nominate themselves or be nominated by others. The multi-stage selection process includes scrutiny of applications, interviews, field visits, and final evaluation by a distinguished jury.
