Amazon announces launch of Mentor Connect Programme

Amazon announced to launch of its ‘Mentor Connect Programme’ in India on Sunday to boost the growth of startups and coming brand owners entered under its Amazon launched Initiative.

This program will help startups and emerging brands gain access to the recommendation from venture capital firms, industry veterans, and Amazon leaders through expert knowledge conducting webinars, events as well as 1 to 1 mentorship sessions.

Added to the point, the educational institution’s mentors and VC firms like Fireside Ventures, DSG consumer partners, elevation capital, Tomorrow capital have already registered to the program to share the Indian startup growth story.

In the Amazon launchpad program, “ startups and emerging brands enrolled can approach suggestions from these mentors through various ways. This includes one-to-one mentorship with chosen mentors over three months, networking opportunities continuing with a wider pool of Industry experts, or knowledge sharing sessions between the experts and other launched brands.”

It provides entrepreneurs a platform to involve, learn and showcase their startups to the industry’s leading subject matter experts helping to undertake strategic and functional challenges.

“The motive of Amazon Mentor connect program is not to end up to startups and emerging brands enrolled in the Amazon Launchpad program, but will also be to extend the winners of the Amazon Smbhav Entrepreneurship challenge in the upcoming Amazon Smbhav summit.”

First will be’ all the winner’s first cohort of startups to receive the benefits relevant to the Amazon Mentor Connect Programme.

Amazon Launchpad currently handles over 2 lakh products offered by more than 800 emerging brands through 30 different product categories. Popular sectors provided by these brands include health and personal care, beauty and grooming, grocery, and home products.

The second phase of ‘Amazon Smbha’ will be conducted from April 15-18, 2021.

The key factor to disrupt innovation and accelerating India’s progress towards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat The main startups are showed by first-time entrepreneurs who have passionate about the drive a change but don’t have the experience to deal with the width of challenge they face.

The aim to conduct an Amazon mentor connect the program to help startups.
