India, October 06, 2025 – Niantic is bringing back the much awaited Festival of Lights events for its Trainers. It is a time to strengthen bonds with those around you including your Pokémon! Celebrate with us by exploring and keeping an eye out for the Pikachu wearing a saree and Pikachu wearing a kurta. Alongside the in-game festivities, Trainers can also experience special and exciting Festival of Lights themed on-ground activations at Nexus Mall Koramangala in Bengaluru and Nexus Select CityWalk in New Delhi. The Trainers can visit the malls on October 18 and 19 and witness Festival of Lights spirit come to life beyond the screen.

What’s more! During the event, Pokémon from previous seasons of the Festival of Lights, such as Ponyta, Chinchou, Volbeat, Litwick, and Morelull are also joining the celebration once again, making this year’s event a nostalgic and exciting experience for Trainers across India. These Pokémon will appear more frequently drawn to Trainer’s Incense adding a magical touch to the in-game adventure.
