indē wild becomes the first homegrown Indian beauty brand to launch at Sephora U.S.

indē wild has become the first homegrown Indian beauty brand to launch at Sephora U.S., marking a  major milestone for India’s beauty industry on the global stage. Founded by Diipa Büller-Khosla in 2021,  the brand debuted on Sephora.com on March 3, 2026, and will roll out in-store across 178 Sephora U.S.  locations beginning March 13, including the iconic flagship store in New York City.

Known for blending traditional Indian beauty rituals with modern skincare science, indē wild has built a  distinctive identity rooted in culture-led innovation. Developed and headquartered in India, the brand’s  philosophy of Ayurvedistry™ combines time-honoured Ayurvedic ingredients and rituals with clinically  backed formulations designed for modern beauty routines.

The brand’s expansion has been built on translating traditional Indian rituals into high-performance  products without diluting their strong cultural roots. Rather than positioning Indian beauty as a niche or  heritage category, indē wild was created to resonate with a global consumer from the outset. Rituals  such as Champi and hair oiling are reimagined through high-performance formulations designed to  integrate seamlessly into contemporary routines, balancing cultural authenticity with visible efficacy.

Since launching indē wild in 2021, founder Diipa Büller-Khosla has led the brand’s positioning and  product philosophy, building it into a globally recognised beauty brand rooted in modern  interpretations of Indian rituals. Speaking about the milestone, Büller-Khosla shared:

“When I first started indē wild, my goal was to take the beauty rituals I grew up with and reimagine  them for a global audience. Sephora U.S. marks a defining chapter in that journey, as indē wild evolves  from a digitally native community into a global prestige beauty brand. From day one, we built indē wild  around the belief that Ayurvedic wisdom and clinical science can coexist in a way that feels both elevated  and accessible. Bringing Ayurvedistry™ to one of the most influential beauty retailers in the world is a  powerful signal that culturally rooted brands from India can resonate with consumers all over the world.”

Among the hero products leading indē wild’s entry into Sephora are the Champi Pre-Wash Treatment  Hair Oil, inspired by India’s iconic hair oiling ritual, and the 15% Vitamin C Complex Serum, both  reflecting the brand’s commitment to ritual-driven yet high-performance formulations. In India, the  country of hair oiling, the Champi Hair Oil is the #1 selling hair oil in the prestige category on India’s #1  beauty retailer. Today, it has become a global bestseller, with one bottle sold every minute worldwide.

Since its founding in 2021, indē wild has cultivated a devoted global community through products that  merge traditional Indian wellness practices with modern cosmeceutical science. Its expansion into  Sephora U.S., following the brand’s successful debut at Sephora UK, signals the growing international  appetite for culturally rooted yet performance-led beauty brands.

As indē wild arrives on Sephora shelves across the United States, the brand continues its mission of  bringing Indian beauty rituals to a global audience- bridging heritage, science, and storytelling through  products designed for modern routines.
