Sony Pictures Networks India adds India A Tri‑Nation Series to its 2026 cricket slate

Mumbai, June 5, 2026: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) adds another Team India series to its cricket portfolio by  securing exclusive television and digital rights for the Tri-Nation Series that will take place  between India A, Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A from June 9 to 21 in Sri Lanka. This agreement allows SPN to exclusively televise and livestream the matches in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan,  Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka.  

The tournament will feature rising players who impressed the audiences in the recently  concluded T20 league, most notably 15‑year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has earned his  maiden India A ODI call-up following an outstanding season. The fans will also look forward  to performances from Priyansh Arya, Ayush Badoni and Suryansh Shedge, amongst others.  

India A will be captained by Tilak Varma, with Ruturaj Gaikwad as vice-captain, as they lead  a young, dynamic squad that can shape India’s white-ball future. The team also includes  Nishant Sindhu, Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Kumar Kushagra (WK), Vipraj Nigam, Yash Thakur,  Yudhvir Singh, Anshul Kamboj, Arshad Khan, and Anukul Roy. 

The tournament will follow a double round-robin format, with the top two teams progressing  to the final on June 21. Across seven ODI fixtures, the series will provide a high-intensity  platform for emerging international talent. 

With this acquisition, SPN reaffirms its commitment to investing in premium live sports,  strengthening its stature as a foremost destination for international cricket in India. Adding  the tri-nation tour broadens the broadcaster’s cricket calendar for 2026 and offers fans  additional occasions to cheer for team India across all its development squads. Fans across  India can watch the live coverage of the series from 10:00 AM IST in five languages; English,  Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
