India,10 September 2026: Brother International India, a leading name in printing, sewing and labelling solutions, today announced its growth outlook for the upcoming festive season, projecting an upward of 30% growth across all product categories during the period spanning Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali and Bhai Dooj.
The projection builds on a strong FY26 performance, with the company recording 19% year-on-year growth. Looking ahead, Brother India has set a growth outlook of 5 to 10% for FY2026-27, backed by sustained festive and post-festive demand.
The company expects growth across its full portfolio this season, including Ink Tank printers, Laser Multifunction Printers, sewing and embroidery machines, and labelling solutions, as consumers continue to prioritise reliable, value-driven home and small business technology ahead of the festive period.
The festive outlook comes at a time when Brother India has been actively expanding its footprint in the country’s printing and imaging market. The company currently holds close to 8% share of India’s ink tank printer segment and has set a target of scaling this to 25% over the next phase of growth, supported by an expanded product line-up, a wider dealer network and deeper penetration into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. This expansion strategy, combined with a growing focus on the small and medium business segment and increased digital engagement, is expected to be a key driver of festive season demand across categories.
Commenting on the growth outlook, Alok Nigam, Managing Director, Brother International India, said, “Festive season demand has consistently been a strong indicator of consumer confidence, and this year is no different. Our 19% growth in FY26 gives us a solid base to build on, and we expect that momentum to carry through the festive months across every category we operate in, from printing to sewing to labelling. As more Indian households and small businesses look for dependable, everyday technology, we are focused on ensuring Brother stays accessible to them, both in metro markets and beyond.
Brother India said the festive uptick reflects a broader shift in consumer behaviour, with buyers increasingly choosing durable, multi-use products over one-time purchases. The company is scaling its retail and e-commerce partnerships ahead of the season to widen availability across metro and non-metro markets, positioning itself to sustain this growth well into FY2026-27.
With operations spanning Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata and Lucknow, and a network of 15 warehouses nationally, Brother India said its distribution reach across authorised dealers and major e-commerce platforms leaves it well positioned to meet festive demand across the country, including in emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets where the company has been steadily expanding its presence.
