MUMBAI, India—September 18, 2026— Prime Video, India’s largest streaming service for exclusive Originals, announced October 1, 2026, as the worldwide premiere date of season two of its Hindi Original series, Dupahiya. Set in the quirky and no longer crime-free fictional village of Dhadakpur, the comedy drama series is back with its unique blend of innocence, madness, and small-town charm, with a fresh set of challenges that promise bigger chaos and plenty of laughs. Directed by Sonam Nair, Dupahiya season two is created and produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under the banner of Bombay Film Cartel LLP, and created and written by Avinash Dwivedi, and Chirag Garg. After a successful season 1, the new season returns with its ensemble star cast, featuring Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Sparsh Shrivastava, Bhuvan Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma, with Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) joining the team. Dupahiya season two will premiere exclusively on Prime Video across India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 1, 2026.
