Accurate College of Pharmacy successfully organizes National Conference on “Shaping the Future of Pharmacy”

Greater Noida, October 15, 2025 — Accurate College of Pharmacy, Greater Noida successfully organized a one-day National Conference on the theme “Shaping the Future of Pharmacy: Empowering Healthcare through Digital Transformation and Innovations.” The event was conducted in both online and offline modes and witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers, researchers, and students from universities across the country.

The conference began with a lamp-lighting ceremony and Saraswati Vandana. Ms. Poonam Sharma, Chairperson of Accurate Group of Institutions, presided over the event, while Dr. Mojahidul Islam, Director of the college, welcomed all the guests and participants.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Poonam Sharma, Chairperson of Accurate Group of Institutions, said, “The world of pharmacy is evolving rapidly with the integration of technology and innovation. The event brought together several eminent speakers who shared their valuable insights on the evolving landscape of pharmacy and healthcare. Dr. Javed Ali, Professor and Head at Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, spoke about the medicinal use of liposomes and their significant role in modern medicine. Dr. S.K. Abdul Rahman, Dean and Professor at Galgotias University, elaborated on the importance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and the process of filing patents. Dr. Manoj Sharma, QPPV and Head of Global Patient Safety Systems & Pharmacovigilance at Win Medicare Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, emphasized the growing importance of pharmacovigilance and the management of Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR). Meanwhile, Dr. Tanveer Naved, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences at Amity University, Greater Noida, highlighted the relevance of medicinal plants in the post-COVID-19 era.

The conference also featured more than 70 offline and 50 online poster presentations, where participants showcased their innovative research work and ideas. During the event, students who excelled in various cultural and academic competitions held as part of World Pharmacist Day 2025 and Pharmacovigilance Week 2025 were recognized and awarded for their achievements.

The conference concluded with a vote of thanks to all guests, speakers, and participants for their valuable contribution. The event served as an inspiring platform that encouraged dialogue, innovation, and collaboration in the field of pharmacy while promoting digital transformation, research, and education in healthcare.
