Adani Wilmar Celebrates National Nutrition Month with its Unique Fortune SuPoshan Project

Successfully executed around 13000 activities in a span of just 30 days, touching upon 96000+ lives in the region

India, October, 2022: Adani Wilmar, one of India’s fastest growing FMCG company, celebrated the Poshan month across September with its unique Fortune SuPoshan programme, implemented by Adani Foundation. The wide array of initiatives part of the Fortune SuPoshan celebrations aim at spreading awareness and education towards various stakeholders, from lactating mothers to parents of children aged between 6 months to 5 years, as well as adolescent girls.

The structured 30-day long programme included unique initiatives such as Poshan Rally, Poshan Samvad, Poshan Salah and Poshan Mela. With the Fortune SuPoshan on-ground campaign, the Adani Wilma conducts activations addressing families and spearheads a strong messaging around a variety of parenting and healthy-diet specific topics. Another successful initiative launched by the company is the Poshan Vatika programme, through which Adani Wilmar in association with SuPoshan Sanginis are running a seed distribution campaign, with an aim to establish more than 5000 kitchen gardens.

The one-of-its-kind programme focuses on core issues such as family counselling, ensuring a ‘Poushtik’ (nutritious) Diet during pregnancy as well as masterclass on diversified home-made food and diet for lactating mothers. It not only supports in measuring and monitoring the impact of the activities but also ensure early identification of Severely Acute Malnourished (SAM) and Nutrition Rehabilitation Center (NRC) referral.

Celebrating the National Nutrition Month, through the Fortune SuPoshan Project, Adani Wilmar has been able to touch upon 96000+ lives through around 13000 strategic initiatives and activities conducted across 12 states in a span of just 30 days.
