Gurugram, 20 July 2026: Agilus Diagnostics, one of India’s leading diagnostic service providers, today announced the appointment of Mr. Vijender Singh as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This follows the resignation of Dr. Anand K, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside the organisation after being associated with the company for nearly six years. The Board and management thank Dr. Anand K for his contributions to Agilus Diagnostics and wish him success in his future endeavours.
Mr. Vijender Singh brings with him over three decades of leadership experience across diagnostics, healthcare, consumer healthcare and FMCG sectors. He has a proven track record of building and scaling businesses, driving operational excellence, strengthening governance frameworks and creating high-performing organisations.
Prior to joining Agilus Diagnostics, Mr. Singh served as Chairman and Managing Director of Diagnum Healthcare, where he focused on strategic growth, governance and business development. He has previously held leadership positions as Group CEO of Metropolis Healthcare, CEO of Healthians and spent nearly a decade with Dr. Lal PathLabs, where he played a key role in building one of India’s most successful diagnostics platforms. He has also worked with Jashvik Capital as an Operating Partner and held leadership roles with Ranbaxy Consumer Healthcare, Bausch & Lomb and Blow Plast.

Mr. Vijender Singh is a seasoned business leader with over 30 years of experience across diagnostics, healthcare, consumer healthcare and FMCG sectors. He has held senior leadership positions at some of India’s leading diagnostics organisations, including Dr. Lal PathLabs, Metropolis Healthcare and Healthians.
At Dr. Lal PathLabs, he played a key role in building the company’s retail-focused diagnostics model, strengthening operational excellence and contributing to its successful IPO journey. As Group CEO of Metropolis Healthcare, he led the integration and transformation of multiple acquired businesses, strengthened governance and operational efficiencies, and played a significant role in the company’s successful public listing. Most recently, he served as Chairman and Managing Director of Diagnum Healthcare, focusing on strategic growth, governance and business development.
