Agoda Appoints Riisa Naka as New Brand Ambassador for Japan

Singapore, 1 October 2026: Agoda Company Pte. Ltd. (Headquarters: Singapore; CEO: Omri Morgenshtern), which operates the digital travel platform Agoda, has appointed actor and creator Riisa Naka as its new brand ambassador for Japan and has launched a new brand campaign, “GO GO with Agoda!”, nationwide in Japan from 1 October 2026. 

Widely recognized and loved across generations for her work as an actor, while also building a close and authentic connection with fans through social media as a creator, Naka is both highly recognizable and relatable. Her energetic and down-to-earth personality makes travel feel within reach, closely aligning with the campaign’s aim of giving travelers the confidence to turn their travel ideas into real trips. 

A New TV Commercial with a Playful, Distinctly Japanese Twist 

Agoda’s campaign creative draws inspiration from familiar elements of Japanese entertainment and travel, creating a playful world that makes planning a trip feel lighter and more enjoyable. 

Naka appears in a variety of storylines, including one inspired by Japanese Tokusatsu entertainment and another featuring a kappa – a mythical water monster or spirit – and hot springs. In addition to the TV commercial, Naka will also feature in a series of shorter creative assets, spotlighting the unique domestic destinations, accommodations, and great value that travelers can enjoy with Agoda. 

Across the different creative executions, Agoda’s wide range of travel options and value are presented in a humorous and engaging way, while the recurring “A-GO-DA!” sound and “GO GO with Agoda!” call-to-action brings the campaign together under one recognizable identity.

Agoda Turns “I Want to Go” into “Let’s Go” 

The campaign emphasizes making the entire process of traveling easier and more enjoyable, from discovering a destination to finding the right place to stay and booking with confidence. Whether it’s a traditional ryokan or a hotel stay, Agoda helps Japanese travelers see and experience more local destinations with options to match every travel style and preference. 

Alongside Agoda’s extensive range of accommodations, great-value deals and coupons, the platform provides an environment where travelers can book with confidence, helping turn questions such as “Where should I go?” and “Where should I stay?” into actual travel experiences.
