Mumbai, 10th March’26: AI-led Bovine Genetics startup Verdant Impact has raised $3 million in a seed round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from Infynyte Club, Yash Kotak, Alok Soni and a-IDEA NAARM.
Funds raised will be strategically deployed for team expansion and further market penetration in North and North-East India. They will also be directed towards R&D, enhancement of Pashu.AI platform capabilities and upgrading of existing tech infrastructure with Blockchain integration.
Verdant Impact has achieved 8X revenue growth since its last round in March 2025 and aims to reach Rs 100 crore in revenues by March 2026 while staying profitable. Verdant has served over 6 lakh farmers till date. The Company has recently launched two products that are transforming livestock management. Pashu AI: An advanced artificial intelligence platform for comprehensive livestock health monitoring, genetic diversity tracking, and farm management. Bharat Pashudhan: An IoT-enabled device designed for real-time herd management and health monitoring.
Verdant also runs India Methane Mission, a Methane mitigation program to enable Dairy Net Zero, a reality with enabling cow based carbon credit support mechanism for 8 Million dairy farmers of India. To further enhance awareness about their products and capabilities, the company also runs Kisaan radio and OTT.
These innovations address critical challenges in the livestock sector, enabling farmers to optimize animal health, improve genetic diversity, enhance productivity, and build resilience against climate challenges.
