National, 13 April 2023: Akasa Air, India’s newest airline, has added a special festive meal to its inflight meal service, Café Akasa, in celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Until 30 April 2023, Akasa Air customers will be able to enjoy the exclusive meal featuring a delectable Mutton Keema Puff accompanied with Traditional Sweet Sevaiyan (Vermicelli) and Caramel-flavoured Dates along with a choice of beverage on all flights across the Akasa Air route network. The meal is available upon pre-booking on Akasa Air’s website or mobile app and select online travel agents (OTAs).
The delightful offering is intended for customers to revel in the festivity and add a sense of occasion to Akasa Air’s signature service, warmly delivered by its cabin crew.
Since starting operations in August 2021, Akasa Air has introduced especially curated meal options inspired by regional delicacies associated with celebrations during popular festivals and special occasions such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, Christmas, Makar Sankranti, Valentine’s Day, and Holi. The airline also offers a pre-selection of cakes on its regular menu for flyers who want to celebrate the birthdays of their loved ones in the skies.
