Mumbai, 9th September 2026: Amita Madhvani, Co-Founder and CEO of Equinox Virtual, took the TEDxFOT stage in Mumbai’s Matunga today for her first TEDx talk, titled “Unguarded” , a personal and professional reflection on embracing the uncharted, challenging conventional paths and staying open to possibilities that may not have a defined roadmap.
Drawing from her journey across advertising, film, entrepreneurship and emerging technology, Madhvani spoke about what happens when we allow ourselves to step beyond the familiar and pursue possibilities without having every answer figured out.
For Madhvani, this philosophy is also shaping the next chapter of entertainment. At Equinox Virtual, she is exploring the intersection of AI, immersive technology and storytelling, including the recently launched AI-powered musical micro-drama Mohini – Khud Se Pyaar, created in collaboration with Google Cloud.

Her TEDxFOT appearance comes at a time when Madhvani is increasingly focused on building new formats and business models for storytelling, with Equinox Virtual exploring AI-led content, immersive experiences and original IP.
