Mumbai, August 18, 2026: Anmol TV, the Free-to-Air (FTA) Hindi general entertainment channel from Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), has ventured into original fiction with Humari Radha, expanding its programming proposition through fresh and engaging storytelling. The show stars Akshay Mhatre as Girdhar Maurya, Simran Kaur as Radha Girdhar Maurya, and Vaidehi Nair as Shanaya Srivastava in lead roles. Humari Radha currently airs every day at 9:30 PM. This marks Anmol TV’s first original fiction offering as the channel expands its programming proposition with fresh storytelling. The story follows Radha, a deeply rooted woman from Kishanpur, Uttar Pradesh, who moves to Mumbai with her husband Girdhar. But her rooted nature and belief system no longer align with Girdhar’s aspirations, leading him to give up on their relationship and gravitate towards his modern, ambitious colleague Shanaya. Set against the contrast of tradition and modernity, Humari Radha is Radha’s journey of confronting her reality, finding courage and rediscovering her strength
Played by Simran Kaur, Radha’s journey is shaped by the challenges she faces as her life in Mumbai begins to unravel. Akshay Mhatre plays Girdhar, whose choices put his relationship with Radha to the test, while Vaidehi Nair essays Shanaya, whose presence further complicates their relationship. Together, the three characters bring the central conflict of love, relationships and changing aspirations to life.

Radha believes deeply in her relationships, yet she also learns to stand up for herself when her marriage is tested. There are so many layers to her journey and portraying them has been both challenging and fulfilling. I sincerely hope audiences connect with Radha and the journey she undertakes.”
Akshay Mhatre, who essays Girdhar Maurya, shared, “Girdhar is an ambitious man who wants to build a better life for himself, but his choices gradually put him in situations he never expected to face. What I find interesting about him is the conflict between what he wants and what he is responsible for. There are many shades to his personality, and understanding what drives his decisions has been a great experience as an actor. Talking about her character and the show, Vaidehi Nair said, “Shanaya is a confident, modern and ambitious woman who is very clear about what she wants. She comes into Radha and Girdhar’s world with a completely different perspective, which makes her an interesting character to portray. What I enjoyed most was exploring the different sides of Shanaya and understanding what drives her choices. It has been a wonderful experience playing her, and I’m excited for audiences to see how her presence changes the dynamics of the story.”
