The interiors of ANNA NATIVE are inspired by the native culture of South Indian Architecture that is synonymous with Dravidian Architecture, which takes us back to the art form of that era. With a touch of fresh outlook in a contemporary and modern approach signifying Indian Modernism with Indian roots, it has a global outlook. Indian Modernism is about weaving the traditional with the contemporary to achieve a new vocabulary that fits the current scenario. A Hindu temple has a Shikhara (Vimana or Spire) that rises symmetrically above the central core of the temple. These spires come in many designs and shapes, but they all have mathematical precision and geometric symbolism. One of the common principles found in Hindu temple spires is circles and turning-squares theme (left), and a concentric layering design (right) that flows from one to the other as it rises towards the sky. ANNA NATIVE, elements of peace and flowers fit well with the restaurant. The includes indoor seating for more than guests featuring images that would carry symbolic icons of peace, knowledge, music, wealth, flowers, sensuality among other things.
