Apollo Hospitals Seshadripuram Marks 10th Anniversary; Celebrates a Decade of Advancing Quality Healthcare

From pioneering first-in-India transplant procedures to treating 1,000+ outpatients daily, the Seshadripuram unit marks a decade of delivering advanced, accessible healthcare.

Bengaluru, 14th August 2025: Apollo Hospitals Seshadripuram celebrated “Samarpanam“ a decade of care and dedication – delivering advanced and accessible healthcare to Bengaluru, in the presence of Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd., and other senior dignitaries.

The superspeciality hospital, which opened in August 2015, has grown into one of Bengaluru’s most trusted hospitals, treating over 1,000+ outpatients every day and performing thousands of complex procedures annually. It has also emerged as a leader in organ transplantation in Karnataka, pioneering several first-of-its-kind transplant procedures in India since 2017.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, said, “At Apollo Hospitals, our mission has always been to blend clinical excellence with a deep commitment to serving communities. The journey of our Seshadripuram unit over the past decade is a true reflection of this ethos. By expanding access to advanced care and building trust with every patient, we have played a pivotal role in shaping Bengaluru’s healthcare landscape. As the city strengthens its position as a leading medical hub, Apollo is proud to drive this progress by setting new benchmarks in quality, innovation, and compassionate care.”

Apollo Seshadripuram is recognized for its expertise in cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, gastroenterology, and a highly reputed kidney transplant program, as well as for introducing India’s first Moses 2.0 Laser, an advanced technology to treat prostate enlargement and kidney stones in high-risk patients.

Mr. Uday Davda, Vice President, Apollo Hospitals Seshadripuram, commented, “Completing ten years is not just a moment to reflect on our achievements, but it is an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the future. At Apollo Hospitals Seshadripuram, we have worked relentlessly to make advanced healthcare more accessible by strengthening our specialties and taking on some of the most challenging medical procedures. I would like to thank our Apollo leadership for their constant guidance and support. This journey has been made possible by the dedication of our teams and the unwavering trust our patients place in us, a trust we will continue to honor in the years ahead. We are also adding another tower in our facility to take care of the growing demand for quality healthcare in this part of the city.”

The anniversary celebrations also featured cultural programs involving staff, patients, and the local community. Looking ahead, Apollo Hospitals Seshadripuram plans to expand its advanced care offerings, integrate more AI-driven diagnostics, and strengthen transplant and emergency services.
