Asian Paints Colours the Southern states of India with Special Edition Regional Packaging State-inspired motifs highlight the pride, stories and traditions of South India

Asian Paints is celebrating this spirit through Special Edition Regional packaging for ACE Emulsion and Tractor Emulsion, each capturing the unique stories and artistry of its southern states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. These limited-edition packaging honour the region’s heritage, bringing alive its symbols, traditions, and unique cultural identity.

For Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, the packaging brings together the most cherished symbols of the twin states. The Charminar and Tirupati Temple anchor the design with their iconic presence. Touches of Kuchipudi, Kalamkari, Bonalu, and Ugadi bring in the colours, rhythms and festive charm people connect with. The region’s craft and heritage come alive through Etikoppaka toys, the Warangal Fort Gate, Lepakshi Nandi, and the serene Hussain Sagar Buddha. The Vizag Submarine adds a proud coastal touch, creating a tribute full of warmth, unity and regional pride.

The Karnataka packaging blends the state’s history, craft and natural beauty. The Hampi Chariot, Gol Gumbaz, and Mysore Palace highlight its rich architectural legacy, while Yakshagana adds a burst of drama and colour.  Elements like Gomateshwara and motifs inspired by the Tungabhadra region add calm and spiritual depth. Fine details from Kasuti embroidery, Bidriware, Bandipur’s elephants, and the vibrant Indian Roller complete the design celebrating Karnataka’s art, history and biodiversity. 

The Tamil Nadu packaging draws from the state’s devotion, craft and coastal heritage. The Meenakshi Temple stands at the heart of the design, accompanied by the grace of Bharatanatyam and the festive charm of the Pongal pot. Cultural icons like Karakattam, Thanjavur dolls, Kolam, Chola-inspired motifs, and the Airavatesvara Temple wheel highlight Tamil Nadu’s artistic depth. Finishing touches such as banana leaf hospitality, Chennai Railway Station, Manora Fort, and the Kanyakumari Memorial showcase a state where heritage and modernity coexist beautifully.

Extending the celebration beyond packaging, Asian Paints has also released dedicated brand films for all four states. These films travel through the region’s festive moments, iconic architecture, serene landscapes and everyday life, capturing how homes across South India reflect a seamless blend of heritage and modern living. Visuals of vibrant neighbourhoods and warm family traditions highlight how walls painted with ACE Emulsion and Tractor Emulsion become expressions of identity, pride, and long-lasting protection through changing seasons.
