Bangalore, May 24, 2025 — The Arangetram of Kum. Niharika Jayakumar, disciple of Acharya Dr. Rakshha Karthik of the Natanam Institute of Dance, is set to take place on Saturday, 31st May 2025, at Yuva Patha, 31st Cross, 11th Main, 4th Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore.
The event, Guru Rachitam, marks a significant milestone in the dancer’s artistic journey and is a heartfelt offering to the classical arts. It is being cordially hosted by Kailash, Mahalakshmi, and Jayakumar, celebrating the culmination of years of dedicated training and artistic refinement.

The recital titled “EE PARIYA SOBAGURaga” is a deeply evocative portrayal of the divine charm and cosmic magnetism of Lord Krishna. In her performance, Kum. Niharika depicts Krishna as the beloved of the gopikas—an embodiment of beauty, mischief, and divine splendor. Through intricate abhinaya and rhythmic excellence, she presents Krishna not only as the enchanting cowherd but also as the resplendent cosmic ruler whose radiance transcends the realms of the earthly and the celestial.
Natuvangam for the performance will be rendered by Acharya Dr. Rakshha Karthik, lending spiritual depth and precision to the recital.
